Scholarship Recipient Luncheon 2023
MORTON 201 FOUNDATION PAY IT FORWARD SCHOLARSHIP LUNCHEON 2023
Morton 201 Foundation Announces 2023 Scholarship Recipients, Hosts Luncheon
On May 25, the Morton 201 Foundation hosted its Scholarship Recipient Luncheon at the Morton West Freshman Academy for its 2023 Pay It Forward Scholarship recipients and their families, as well as the donors and corporate sponsors who made their scholarships possible.
Thanks to the generous and continued support of our donors and corporate sponsors, this year the Morton 201 Foundation awarded ELEVEN $2,000 scholarships, 5 at each campus plus a new Culinary scholarship between both campuses.
Since 2019, the Morton 201 Foundation has awarded 43 scholarships totaling $72,000.
The guest speaker for the luncheon was Daisy Patino, one of our first 2019 Pay It Forward Scholarship Recipients. Daisy recently graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champagne's College of Agriculture, Consumer, and Environmental Studies with a degree in Human Development and a minor in Crop Studies. She will be starting a new job in Iowa with Pepsico as a Supply Chain Manager later this month.
