Ortiz Brings Diverse Experience to Board
The Morton 201 Foundation is pleasure to announce the appointment of its newest Board Member, Alma Ortiz. Mrs. Ortiz’s appointment was approved by the Morton District 201 Board of Education at the September 9, 2020 meeting and fills the vacancy left by former Board Member, Dennis Hale.
Mrs. Ortiz is a Bank Manager, Vice President of BMO Harris Bank with 26 years of banking experience, 23 at BMO Harris. She is a Community Ambassador through United Way in Support of St. Mary of Celle Church in Berwyn and St. Pius Parish in Pilsen-Chicago. Alma is an active member of the Berwyn Development Corporation and has volunteered at Help A Stranger program within BMO Harris Bank, member of Veteran Advisory Council and Latino Alliance and Enterprise Resource Groups at BMO Harris Bank. She has also served on many previous boards and has participated and graduated from Mujeres de HACE (Hispanic Alliance Career Enhancement) in August of 2016. To learn more, click here.
